The 15-inch Low-Turbulence Tunnel is a self-contained, closed-circuit tunnel that can produce very stable air flows up to about 88 miles per hour. Its test section consists primarily of clear panels, and it offers excellent optical access for laser velocimetry (LV) and particle-image velocimetry (PIV) measurements.
